The non-paid "journalist" known as Joseph Viglione (A.K.A. the Tortious Interference Baby) has spent more hours at City Council meetings than most local residents. While at home on our comfortable couches watching TV16, we have witnessed the slimy way that Joseph Viglione watches how the other councillors react before he spouts his lies. He's not a man of principle, he's an individual with a huge ego that one Medford resident said disrupted a funeral at a Medford church this past year. It is alleged Viglione was in Smeer Tactics-Mode at that church service and should have shut his mouth instead of babbling during a solemn moment... solemn for the other residents, but not for no-conscience Joe.

Did you know that local resident feels the need to raise the issue of a lawsuit against City Government whenever he wants to to speak? He is absolutely spineless. Doesn't Joe Viglione utilize the airwaves of TV 16 to promote himself during every speech he makes?
On February 8, 2011 BoB Maiocco allowed the sleazy host of the informercial television program (all his guests are on a publicity junket to hawk their latest book, movie, CD compilation - whatever) Visual Radio to rant and lie about a hard-working Medford resident who had recently won (and was later acknowledged for) a prestigious National award.
It was ultra-creepy as the host of Visual Radio, Joe Viglione, was exposed at a previous council meeting for misleading a special needs person to abandon his true friends and pledge his allegiance to this visually embarrassing man right there on live TV. The "Visual Radio" man's show was pulled from Medford's cable channel when the sponsor of the banned producer's show no longer felt comfortable sponsoring it. To Mr. Viglione he gave as his reason the "complicated & intrusive submission form" that he had to sign, yet this is the same form that Mr. Viglione's sponsor for Somerville cable's TV3 fills out every year! It is interesting to note that when the sponsor first agreed to submit Visual Radio for cableplay on TV3 Medford, he remarked to the staff that he fully expected to be sued by Mr Viglione within a year; he dropped sponsorship of the show within 8 months of starting it.
Judging by the way they let him speak on & on without chiming in, one can only conclude that most of the councilors are frightened of the terrorist, Joe Viglione, whose thug-like tactics have been aimed squarely at Gary Zappelli. Breanna Lungo-Koehn, Councilor Robert Penta (who calls Zappelli and his friends "sick" yet is afraid to say anything to Joe) and former councilor Stephanie Muccini-Burke; all once champions of Mr Viglione and his "cause"; now sit therre mute as he stands there at the podium speaking. He lied to the council on February 8th, 2011 claiming falsely that TV3 President attacks the memory of Pat Fiorello.
But Bob Maiocco allowed Viglione the chance to refer to a Medford resident in vulgar and libelous terms, claiming the person brave enough to take the mud Viglione throws was to be likened to a libellor; which is ironic, since that is exactly what Mr Viglione is - a libeller. We have the court documents to prove it! Viglione also libels the popular ZappTV talk show host he is envious of; writing lies on the internet that he is stealing his "copyrighted material". Well if it's actually under copyright Mr. Viglione, then how about producing the Library of Congress number assigned to it so that we may check it out on the Government website for ourselves! Viglione is a sociopath and menace to public safety in Medford, lying in a court of law as liberally as he lies to the City Council about his many accomplishments. The City Council either enables the rumored sex offender (did you hear the stories about what he demanded from young bands he once managed?) or they are afraid of him. Either way, The Council's bad judgment and/or cowardice has led to Tuesday after boring Tuesday of TV16 viewers changing the channel in disgust. Do you suppose this is the reason the TV16 playback system "broke down"... so that their remaining viewers will not have to endure reruns of this man's disgusting tirades?
